We bought our first home in June. It's a lovely four bedroom Queen Anne Victorian with patterned mason front facing gables sitting on six acres of wooded lakefront shoreline. Actually, it's the plain Jane stucco on a postage stamp lot you expect in Salt Lake County. It cost us a tad bit more than we planned so we had to change some of our routines to save money. During the summer we ate the dog. Actually, we traded the dog to a Chinese restaurant for a rice allowance. Word of advice: don't order the special at Yu Hung Lo's Schezuan Bistro next time you go. We then sold our house to someone who thought it was worth much more money than we did and are building a home in Alpine.
